Gathering at the corral (magpies)

I spent a hot summer weekend parked in the plateau grasslands near this old corral above Nicola Lake, British Columbia. Over the course of the weekend we were treated to exceptional cloud formations. At the same time, family groups of black-billed magpies visited the spot chasing each other and carrying on with "lively discussions".
